Congratulations and thanks to all SOC juniors who competed in the YBT qualifier.

We won our heat over TVOC and are through to the final!This is on 6th December at the SO event.It would be great to have a good turnout again as we will be competing against the top clubs in the country.

Duncan CurrieChristine and David Currie are happy to announce the arrival of a brother for Emma. Duncan Christopher Currie was born on Saturday 3 October at 6.07am weighing just under 9lbs. Mother and child are both doing well and were home later that day. Hopefully you'll see Duncan out on his first string course in the very near future. You can read all of the gory details here!

JIRC 2009 Prize GivingOne of the most important events in the year for the juniors is the Junior Inter Regional Orienteering Championships, which were held in Northern Ireland this year. The South Central Region (SCOA) sent a team of 18 to the event, which included three from SOC, Tim Morgan, Jamie Hicks and Tamsin Moran.
