For those of you who were in the inenviable postion of having a late, dry, sunny start to the November Classic ( probably not many SOC members as they all seemed to be helping early, or running early) this is what you missed at the start. The best bit was watching competitors waiting for their start time trying to shelter behind a 1 metre high gorse bush from horizontal rain. It was amazing how everyone kept their sense of humor despite the atrocious conditions between 07.30 and 11.00 am!
