I appreciate everyones effort in SOC in responding to Katy Stubbs request for comment.

However, I was disappointed to find that Saturday' national meeting was to discuss how the 3 level structure is to be implemented.

I may be incorrect but I was under the impression that the new structure was working as a set of draft proposals and would need ratification to be implemented.

Saturdays meeting was to work out the nuances of implementation eg what level of controller is required for which type event and other working arrangements of the 3 level structure. 

My personal opinion is that we (the membership) have been "sold down the river" on this one, and our comments at this stage were misplaced. But I wiould like to know when we were supposed to have made them - and to who!
