Event specific parking is not provided. Please use the Boltons Bench new Forest car Parks or park in Lyndhurst. Registration will be at Boltons Bench with the junior course remaining in this area to avoid road crossings. The score course will visit urban areas of Lyndhurst.
The map has had a small extension since the last event was held in Lyndhurst which should to provide some new route choices.
We are also using new EMIT Professional Proximity Controls for the Score event!
This will be the first opportunity to try this system before The Southampton Urban Event on Saturday 3rd November, (Part of The November Classic weekend).
Kevin would like to hear from anyone who can help at the event.

Lyndhurst urban optimum route
Thanks Richard for a very good event.
Having a close look at the map I realise I ran a few hundred metres more than I needed to. I think the trick, which people didn't generally appear to be doing, was to combine 102 and the isolated 108 with 107, either at the start or at the end. Combining with 106 and 109 looks shorter on the map but because of all the enforced zig-zagging is actually further.
Potentially the optimum route would have been 101-103-104-105-106-109-
129-119-130-131-192-193-194-197-196-132-122-126-121-128-111-112-
116-117-110-107-108-102, or vice versa.
