Wessex Night League Wenesday 26th October 2016

It's already that time of the year, one event in the league has taken place already, so dust off your headtorch and high viz vest and get ready for Winchester's streets and parks on Wednesday evening. Club Coaching Activity at Ocknell Sunday 20th November

Details of the Coaching Activity as follows;

 

The first session is for Juniors/Beginners wanting to move up from Yellow courses to Orange courses.

The session will include.

Pace Counting

Simple use of Compass

Feature Recognition

Cutting Corners

Aiming Off

Meet at The car Park near Ocknell at Grid Ref: SU247125 at 10:15 for a 10:30 Start.

 

The Second Session for those wishing to improve their Navigation.

Suitable for Orienteers of orange/Light Green & above Standard.

The session will include.

Bearings

Feature Recognition

Meet at The car Park near Ocknell at Grid Ref: SU247125 at 11:30. Session to last 1.5-2 hrs.
