Results for Summer Series 7 - Westwood

That was smashing! Smashing weather, smashing courses (thanks Andy Heppel), smashing map (thanks Simon Bevan), smashing organising (thanks Nick Bosbury/Bill & Barbara Davidson), smashing helpers (thanks all who helped).

Thanks also to Chris Williamson for blazing a trail through the long grass - we all appreciated it!

And to the policeman who, like the cavalry, appeared over the hill in pursuit of a couple of cowboys on a motorbike.

Three events left in the Summer Series League

The league is looking hot after six events with just four points separating the top three runners, Mike Frizzel, Kevin Bracher and Julian Hartwell. But wait, looking at those who have just two or three counting scores we could see lots of chart climbers over the last three events. Lisa James, Sue Hands and Mary Nixon all look very strong. SOC BBQ (SOC members only)

If you've not already done so, please put a note in your diary for the Club BBQ on Friday 18th July. The BBQ will be in Hugh Risebrow's garden at Bracken Cottage, Blissford, Fordingbridge, Hants SP6 2JQ (Grid Ref: SU178140) with parking in one of his fields.

First starts will be available from 1800h.

Hugh is planning a 60 minute score event that aims to provide something for all.  Further details will follow.
