As always and quite rightly thanks goes to all the volunteers - to Lisa James rookie organiser - well done, especially thanks to Terry Smith and the registration/download team who managed admirably in the heavy winds and hail squalls to even keep the tent around them! Today our orienteering seemed to add 2 further sports of attempted paragliding with a tent, and bog snorkeling in the extremely wet New Forest! I enjoyed planning and producing SOCs first middle distance event in a brilliant small piece of the New Forest. Thanks to Kevin Bracher who ably assisted both Lisa and myself.
