Why not have a go at the SOC pitch & Putt challenge?

Play a round of Pitch & Putt at Riverside Park and send your Score to me (Kevin).

I will post the Scores on the Club website and maintain a table of results. The aim is to post the best score you can.

The Pitch and Putt is at Woodmill Lane, Bitterne Park Southampton. SO18 2JJ.

The Pitch & Putt course is open from 08:45 - 18:00 during the Summer.

Allow around 2 hours to go round so 16:00 is about the latest you would want to start.

Cost is £4:00 for Adults.  £2:50 for Under 18s.   A Deposit of £5 for equipment Hire.

Or you can use your own Clubs if you have them. A 9 Iron or pitching wedge and a Putter plus a ball or two and Tee pegs.

RULES for the SOC Challenge:

  1. You can send in your Score any time from now till the end of August.
  2. You can Play and send in as many Scores as you like.
  3. Your Score must be verified by a Witness (Witness does not need to be a SOC Member).
  4. All shots to be counted even air shots (i.e. when you try to hit the ball but miss).

We would like to generate a Social side to the activity and encourage people to arrange to play in groups. Form your own party and let Club members know you plan to play at a certain time.

I plan to play this coming Sunday 25th May at 14:00 ( weather permitting).

Let me know if you would like to meet up this Sunday!

Kevin
