Mapping course for beginners

Profile picture for user Di Smith
By Di Smith , 6 February, 2016

The club is intending to put on a mapping course aimed at beginners. This will include indoor theory and outdoor practical surveying, updating an existing small map.

It is generally agreed that having mapping skills helps you to interpret O maps better, improves your own navigation and maybe even your competition results! So this is a golden opportunity to learn something new and contribute to the club maps.

Dates and details to be decided but likely to be on a weekend in the next couple of months. Numbers likely to be limited to 12. Without commitment, please email di [at] ntrees.co.uk (di[at]ntrees[dot]co[dot]uk) if you are interested.
