Zoom socials for 2021 - Happy New Year!

Happy New Year everyone!

With tier 4 restrictions for the majority of our members, it unfortunately looks like we are unable to put on events again. Who knows how long this will last for. But there is something we can do... Zoom socials!



7th January 20:00 virtual pub social

Come with a top orienteering memory or highlight of 2020, your new orienteering Christmas presents or maybe any top tips on how you coped during the previous years restrictions. It would be great to meet some of our new members as well. 

We have been having 15+ members attend each social, so this time we'll give the breakout rooms a try (so we can talk in smaller groups). As if we were sat on different tables in the pub!

Reminder Membership Renewal 2021

For those still wishing to renew, especially if you are intending to take part in any 'closed' club events from 1 January 2021, please visit the British Orienteering website and log on as normal. You can renew at My Settings on the Home Page or from My Account, My Membership, Renew Your Membership.

Castle Malwood - January 24th - Postponed

The event planned for Castle Malwood on 24th January has been postponed due to the Coronavirus restrictions but we hope to reschedule to a date in February, Coronavirus and Forestry England permitting, which has yet to be confirmed. This will be a closed event in a similar format to those at Bramshaw and Farley Mount and we still require an Organiser. It would be great to see some interest from members who haven't tried their hand at organising a small event before and assistance/mentoring can be provided if required. Of course, those with experience of organising are also welcome to volunteer!!
