A great turn out of SOC orienteers, family and friends were out at Wimborne's Boxing Day Canter yesterday. We had fun orienteering at Moors Valley Country Park and tried to find the bonus moving controls of Santa and the Fairies! Thanks to Wimborne Orienteers for putting the event on! 25 SOC runners/groups in the results list with 5 of the top 10 (Tim still counts as SOC!) The main goals of having fun and burning off some turkey and Christmas pudding were definitely achieved!

We start the New Year with two events at what some would say are the two extremes of orienteering!

On Thursday 14th January we have the Wessex Night League at Eastleigh and on Sunday 17th January we have the SCOA LEague event at Busketts Lawn in the New Forest. Details of both events are on our website at www.socweb.org.
