MapRun results are in

By Webmaster , 3 May, 2026

April is over, and as a consequence we can now reveal the results of the first round of the MapRun league in Chandler's Ford. Those who entered and still have the PIN can also see the tracks taken by other competitors. If you managed to take part before the end of April and still haven't uploaded your result, it isn't too late. The course will also remain open until the end of September, but any new attempts won't count towards the league.

We had nearly 30 competitors, which was great to see. David Currie (on home turf) was the only one to attempt to get all 25 controls, but then lost 30 points as he was just over 2 minutes late back. That still put him 10 points ahead of James Bennett, with Andy Snell just ahead of Matthew Chessum based on time, a further 10 points behind. Rachel Hepworth was the first lady. League points can be found here.

Many thanks to Christine Currie for planning. The action now moves to Lee-on-Solent for May courtesy of Tim Gray. Enter on Racesignup if you haven't already. If you're available, why not join us at the pub on the evening of the 21st?
