We are running a training / practice session, prinicpally for people who will be running download at the CSC event in March.

We have the conservatory booked.

All are welcome,it would be useful to have some people who can act as runners and walk round some courses that we will have.

Wednesday's Army Event

This Wednesday, 17th Feb, the Army is holding an event at Barossa. For security reasons photo ID is required by all. Non-MOD personnel must provide the following details to RMAS by email (sunil.rana128 [at] mod.uk (sunil[dot]rana128[at]mod[dot]uk)) no later than midnight on Sunday 14 February 2016 in order to be able to attend this event – full name, DOB, vehicle details, BOF club & number.

Mapping course for beginners

The club is intending to put on a mapping course aimed at beginners. This will include indoor theory and outdoor practical surveying, updating an existing small map.

It is generally agreed that having mapping skills helps you to interpret O maps better, improves your own navigation and maybe even your competition results! So this is a golden opportunity to learn something new and contribute to the club maps.
